Aura & Amity was born from a simple realization: in a fast-paced world, moments of calm are not a luxury—they’re a necessity.

Our founder, Uwem O., didn’t originally plan to start a wellness candle and essential oil brand. Like many people, life became a constant balance of work, family, and endless responsibilities. With stress building and little time left for personal well-being, the search for small, meaningful moments of peace began.

Aromatherapy became the first escape. A few drops of essential oil at the end of a long day brought a sense of calm that nothing else could. Soon after, candles joined the ritual—their warm glow and soothing scents transforming everyday spaces into peaceful sanctuaries.

What started as a personal self-care practice quickly grew into a passion for creating safe, intentional, and meaningful wellness products. Late nights were spent researching ingredients, testing blends, and refining each product. From clean-burning soy wax candles to carefully sourced pure essential oils and calming wax melts, every item is crafted with purpose.
